About Me

Growing up in the SF Bay Area, I was constantly surrounded by technology. I've always had a passion for computers and would often build them as a hobby. Tweaking every component from the GPU to the CPU (and even RAM) to make the computer run more efficiently, just to get a few more frames per second in my video games. Computer hardware was just a past time for me, and I have always had a curiosity for software as well.

After graduating UCSD with a B.A. in Communications and working in education for a while, I felt that there was something missing in my life. I was eager to work in tech and decided to try out programming. I instantly fell in love!

Technologies & Tools

I started learning on my own through websites such as pluralsight, codecademy, and udemy. I ate leetcode for breakfast, but that still wasn't enough. In order to elevate my skills, I decided to invest in a software engineering bootcamp, and now I am a full stack web developer!

For frontend web development, I am familiar with Javascript, HTML, CSS, React, and Redux.

I have experience with Node.js, Express, Flask, Python, PostgreSQL, and SQLAlchemy for developing backend web applications.
